Fraud Examination is a SAQA‑accredited forensic practitioner course (NQF Level 7) built to equip you with the knowledge and skills to sit for the ACFE International CFE Exam, earn your CFE designation, and be recognised globally as a forensic fraud expert — advancing your impact in fraud detection, prevention and investigation.

Purpose

The purpose of the Advanced Certificate: Fraud Examination is to launch competent forensic practitioners by equipping them with the skills, insight, and practical experience needed to excel in fraud detection, prevention and investigation — while preparing learners to write and successfully complete the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) International Exam, positioning them as globally recognised experts in the field.

General information

This Advanced Certificate: Fraud Examination is a SAQA‑accredited forensic practitioner programme crafted for ambitious professionals — from auditors and investigators to legal, compliance and risk specialists — who are committed to mastering fraud detection, prevention and investigation and preparing to sit the International Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Exam. It sets the foundation for you to become a globally recognised expert in combating fraud and financial crime. 

*To write the exam, the applicant has to be at least an associate member and have a degree with two years’ experience or at least eight years’ experience in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation.
